The HTC Desire S has built-in hardware similar to its predecessor (HTC Desire). One of the most notable hardware improvements in the Desire S is a 33% increase in RAM and a 100% increase in internal storage capacity. Phone connectivity has also seen a noticeable improvement featuring 14.4 Mbit / s HSDPA and 802.11 b / g / n wireless. The Desire S has an aluminum unibody casing and touch sensitive buttons in place of the HTC Desire navigation key. The trackball has also been removed.
The analog clock widget version of the Desire S, themes for s40 320×240, features an analog clock only. Custom hTC style icons, transparent elements as well as media skins. The digital clock version will be coming soon.
